I still remember that fight he had with Moraes like it was yesterday. He really earned my respect with that fight because he was getting destroyed in the first round of that and had to completely change his strategy for the forthcoming round. He even said so to his coaches in the corner after the first round. After that he domimated Moraes and I believe he knocked him out in the 2nd or third round.

I used to not like Cejudo’s Title Reign bc I thought it came with some controversy. Close fight with DJ could’ve went either way, Early Stoppage with TJ, and Early Stoppge again with Cruz. I’ll take that all day over Aljo’s Title Reign. Gets belt from acting, arguably lost the second Yan fight, and TJ blows out his shoulders. I respect them both. I’m just ready for Cejudo to be Champ again lol. I was hoping TJ would be back but he’s old and busted. Not gonna be an Easy Fight for Cejudo bc Aljo is a lot bigger and could easily lock up a Sub on him.

@@WKuyo beating Marlon Moraes for his second belt is not that impressive to me. Nowadays they would never give Henry that decision win vs mighty mouse. His most impressive win was vs dillishaw IMO. Henry was also fast tracked to the championship during a time when the competition was low and they wanted to cancel the division... his mma history is not very deep. His Olympic gold medal was not in mma and adds nothing to his MMA accomplishments. He can claim "combat sports" goat all he wants... I watch mma. Idc about his gold medal in the context of mma... all it means is he has skilled wrestling ability. Should we credit Gable Steveson in MMA cuz he won an Olympic gold medal in wrestling? Like what's your point? The fact that he's cringe is actually the most entertaining aspect of him as an MMA fighter IMO. He's a good salesman for himself, but I'm not that impressed by his actual performances.
