No dj in Jamaica history get the attention of yellow man,he was a crowd pleaser and real entertainer in any genre of music these self proclaimed king don't do half of what yellow man done and him still traveling i remember on one occasion at skateland the dance was in action but the venue was almost empty inside but the crowd was huge outside and when yellowman arrived it was pandemonium and the crowd was rushing in and in no time the venue was filled to capacity wish of these dj can ever draw such attention in his time he was the master of dancehall until this present time he never name his self king the people bestowed upon him that prestigious title he certainly helps to put dancehall to the forefront of the world and he brings professionalism into dance hall fraternity whenever it comes to booking he was paid before he entered the arena while other dj sometimes got a little money and a gold chain he must be respected

Yellow this is a very good video and it remind me of the old day. So proud of Yellow. Jamaicans will always love you. I remember you from before you sing Eventide Fire. I use to live on Benbow St and would visit the Eventide Wards, long before you became known to the world. Yellow was always so quiet, never really spoke. Yellow we will always love you!!!

The Skateland portion of the clip only goes up to1:22. The rest of the clip is at The National Arena, in kingston, Jamaica. The event was the Rockers Award of 1984. the performers were Little John, Peter Metro and of course Yellowman.
