When i was a teenager, there were a lot of masters in football. Aimar and Ortega were 2 of them. Seeing them in this match reminded me how beautiful it was to watch them. The way they control the ball, move with the ball, pass it. When they have the ball, you know they are in full control and they will not lose it and they will do something good with it. Not like the superstars of these days; mbappe, haaland, c.ronaldo who choose their team well or use their phsycal superiority to get some statistics; masters of 90's-2000's era were one so high level technically and mentally that these new players can not even imagine.Always have the control and doing magic all the time. The reason their statistics were not as good as today's "stars" is i think because they played against each other and some best defenders and goalkeepers of history. If you check all the players with more then 500 goals, there are 24 of them and 6 of them are players who played after 2010. Other 18 are farmer league players or players from 1940's,50's,60's, 70's . Following players haven't scored 500 or more goals in their career. I watched them on live TV back then. When you learn about them you will know why i list them here. -Del Piero -Inzaghi -Trezeguet -Henry -Totti -Bergkamp -Batistuta -Crespo -Owen -Raul -Vieri -Morientes -Van Nistelrooy -Yorke -Andy Cole -Ian Wright -Cantona -Rivaldo AND -Ronaldo No more masters with super technique and full control. Last 2 for me were rooney and messi. 1 is retired and other is about to retire.

Sem dúvidas foi o melhor da história. Vejo jogos do Pelé e era um futebol muito fraco. Tinha uma avenida pro atacante passar. Futebol evoluiu demais. O Pelé errava quase 50% dos passes. Era um bom finalizador. Mas tinha um péssimo passe. Em tempos em que zagueiro fumava e enchia a cara todo final de semana quem se cuidava fisicamente tinha grande vantagem. Futebol evoluiu demais isso e indiscutível. Messi na época do Pelé todos iam parecer crianças jogando bola.

Whenever I start watching Messi, I start praying for his teammates. Remember that his team mates are as important as him in the match. In football it's all about team play so I pray that he has a good team player in his team along with him to win the match. Else you know how brutal it can get, I've witnessed broken legs or dislocated bones and muscle spasm thoughout my life of playing with good players. I think if I pay with Messi, he will want me to score and I will feel the same way he does to win the game so... Even though it gets messy sometimes which is what we refer to as rough plays on grounds, we still want to bag that trophy and this is why his teammates succeeds.
