Fonzzie was my favorite as a kid!! I have a pic my mom took of me when I was 7,8 or 9 and I was standing with the thumbs up like the Fonz with my Levi's blue jeans with the cuff in the legs with some lil biker boots on, an it was winter, because I also had huge coat on. That's when it use to get cold in GA. I am now 51 and thankful for such a wonderful childhood and such great childhood idols to have grown up with.

Just saw Henry Winkler last weekend. Such a wonderful man. He made Fonzi references in his voice, talked to the crowd, it was wonderful. I'm happy to see handles publicity well. As for the velvet pants he was wearing...ha. Jokes aside, I've loved him since I was 8 in 1974 and love the guy now...thankful for the opportunity :)

As a kid of the 70's, Gen-X, Fonzie was the coolest, baddest, Dude around. As a kid, 4th-5th grade, I was impressionable. I wanted a leather jacket and cool, slicked back hair. Instead of the standard Levi jacket around then, almost as cool as leather, I realised I was a poor Country kid. My Mom knew of my Fonzie worship and kept her eye out for a suitable jacket. Somewhere, she found me a denim jacket I could flip the collar of up and say, "Ayyyyyy!" Then the 80's came and Fonzie was replaced by JUDAS PRIEST and MOTLEY CRUE(the early days!).

Mr Winkler did a Hallmark Christmas Movie (HE is Jewish , his family barely got out in time from 1930's Germany) and stole the show. One of the few Hallmark Christmas movies i can watch with my wife and one of my favorite holiday movies to watch .
