It wasn't a stretch to play Fonzi from when he was Butchie in the Lords of Flatbush. Henry is from New York so he do the accent

I was a kid in the 70's/80's, so he (as "The Fonz") was a pretty major part of my youth....I'm glad that he seems like such a nice and humble guy in "real life"....not all of them are.

He is such an incredibly cool incredibly smart guy. He says he lives through a philosophy of gratitude and tenacity. Gratitude for what he has because it eliminates anger and tenacity because it gets him to where he wants to be and that has to be hands down the greatest thing I ever heard from any celebrity in my life

I got to meet him a few years ago. He was the friendliest, kindest, and most genuinely likable person I’ve ever met. It was so awesome to meet this acting icon.

I grew up with 'Happy Days' in the 1970s; my family and I watched faithfully every Tuesday night at 8pm on ABC. The one thing that struck me as a kid was that "cool" and "thug" are not synonyms. Fonzie was cool, but he was also a gentleman, and responsible. That was the message that I got as kid watching 'Happy Days' in the 1970s.

Hard to believe that such a humble, nervous man without a sense of self (when he was younger), was so adept at playing the literal opposite of what he was - Fonzie, a character who was the epitome of cool and confidence. I guess that's what makes him such a great actor.

My teen years broke when I found out he really did not know how to ride a motorcycle! Saw an interview where he said he was terrified riding it for the brief time during the opening of the show credits.... Sad day. But aaaaayyyy. He cried in the show where Ritchie was in the hospital, but that was just before they had him jump the shark.

It's funny that "Fonzie" is a totally invented persona. Stallone is pretty much the same guy as his screen characters when he's not acting.

He could've mentioned about going against Micky Dolenz for ''fonz'' Micky sure did, and he spoke highly of Henry getting the part.

What roles did he play Henry? Only role that he would play Henry is being cast in a movie about himself, or am I missing something here? I do remember Winkler, early on in the Happy Days series when out in public, screaming at crowds, "I'M NOT FONZIE, I'M HENRY WINKLER!!!"

Thought his character quite threatening to watch, Jack the lad gods gift, the series was full of braggers from beginning to end and went on for far too long with dead end scripts.
