This was a powerful and wonderful song when it first was released in 1984 (and I do remember) and when you touch this song it becomes something even more powerful and beautiful. I used to avoid cover songs. But in the past 5 years I have sought them out to see what a group of talented people that makes up our world. My mum has been a prince fan for over 30 years and normally she doesn't like it when others try to sing prince because they just can't get anywhere near his voice. However, this cover has really changed her mind. When I showed it to her, she was completely blown away by your voice. Thank you so much. This is a masterpiece.

Hi Jeff! Sorry for the late reply! So, for the vocals here I am using a Neumann TLM 102 - it's the cheapest Neumann large diaphragm condenser but it sounds really nice and I think it's pretty widely used. I've just got a pair of Roswell Mini K87's which I think are a little bit nicer and a little bit cheaper :P I hope that helps!
