my dad also was somebody who did not hrow away his tea bags immediately, he stored his teabags always outside the window of his working place, he made a big ass can of tea each time and rotated them out one by one with each brew and just put in one new bag and one old out, so he used each one 5 times, even made knots into each to track which is the oldest :D (it's pretty dry here so the tea bags dried up fast in the fresh air)

Sorry, I have to tell you: this is totally fine to do with light green teas. They only need a short time in hot water to set free the first set of aromas. And because green teas are only dried you can usually set them multiple times. I usually use loose tea and let it set for 2 minutes. After that you can use the leaves again, for most green teas at least to times. Some green teas can be set up to 7 times in a row

I fill my kettle with a liter and then put 2-3 teabags in the teacan and they stay there for hours until i finish the eventually cold tea...

My issue is that the different aspects of flavor from tea don't all infuse from the leaves at the same rate - try to over-brew a cup and water it down, it doesn't taste the same as one brewed to that strength to begin. Plus unless the bag is completely dried between each brew, flavors will still infuse out and drip out the bag. So I can't see this as ending up as anything but multiple *bad* cups of tea.

It's generally for the better teas (and whole leaf), and commonly requires different brewing methods, not for industrial teabags.

I dont get it. it is pretty normal for loose tea to use it multiple times. some tea types tastes even better after the first use because the strong bitterness is gone and only the lovely taste remains. for the normal "store brand" tea I use it normaly as a single use. but I would not see a problem if the taste stays the same to use it multiple times.

If Henya likes weak tea then she likes weak tea, I think the bigger issue is how often she makes a new cup of this weak tea. If she's still dunking the same teabag 3 or 4 days later I think you've got some bacteria starting the build-up. Sooner or later you'll be drinking English mold instead of English Breakfast.

Not three different day, 3 different cups while streaming. Personally, I like stronger teas, boiling ht water and steep for 5 mins max (after that you get the bitter taste of tannic acid
