From Osaka to the southern part of Mie prefecture.
I came all the way to the town of Kihoku through the Ise Expressway and the Kisei Expressway.
If there is no highway, I will go over the Kii Mountains,
That would be a ridiculous journey, but now it's relatively easy to access on the highway.
However, it will be a long trip of three and a half hours one way.
The town of Kihoku I was heading to this time was a town called Kaizan.
It seems that they merged into Kihoku Town.
As the name "seamount" suggests, the sea and mountains are beautiful.
This time we will start from the seamount town.
The world heritage "Kumano Kodo" that follows Kumano also goes to this town.
This road will become "Iseji" and will be the road to Binshiyama, which we will climb this time.
(Walk the Kumano Kodo to Magose Pass)
It's exciting to start from the historic Kumano Kodo.
A trip along the old approach, it feels good.
However, when I started walking, it was difficult to walk on the cobblestone road.
Moreover, there are many uphill slopes, and I am short of breath with haste.
While feeling the history, it was a wonderful mountain climbing.
The turning point to Binshiyama is "Magose Pass".
From here, leave the Kumano Kodo and enter the mountain road.
Now, here is the full-scale mountain climbing.
However, climbing Binshiyama is difficult.
A ridiculous staircase hell is waiting.
I climbed while saying Zee Zee.
Binshiyama finally arrived.
Unfortunately, there is no view of the mountaintop with a triangular point.
The purpose is the "elephant spine" just ahead of the mountaintop.
The rock that jumped out into the sky is like an elephant's back.
The view from there is in the sky.
What kind of scenery can you see?
