Nice overview -- might want to increase your mic volume though! Seems very fluid and functional. Might be a good Obsidian contender in a year or so. Update: Not an Obsidian replacement, it's $12 per month.

Can you use it COMPLETELY offline? I'm willing to pay, but for a PKM tool, which would handle a lot of very personal information, I'd never want it uploading anything. That's why I'm using Obsidian currently, but Obsidian is kinda limited in note formats - mostly textual.

Yes, you can use it completely offline using the desktop app.

Cost is certainly a factor for many people. I'm less concerned about the cost if it adds value over the free option. In this case, Heptabase doesn't add anything that I "need" that I can't get in Obsidian. But things change and you never know what the future holds for either of these products.
