You clearly don’t understand the point of the Film. To have a Muslim women designing clothes to influence non-Muslim instead of them influencing us was the point of the film. To showcase the beauty of dressing modestly. We all wear clothing Why not have a Muslim woman designing clothes that are modest influencing both non-Muslim and Muslim alike to showcase the beauty of modesty. The clothing that you wear that your sisters/mother is where were design by someone who is probably not Muslim not Somali but we still wear it so why can you support your sister who is designing clothes which are modest instead of always being negative.

"Showcasing modesty" how pathetic and laughable. There is nothing modest about parading women's bodies in a crowd of onlooking men, no matter how "modest" the clothing is. Modesty is not just in clothing, but in behavior and speech. Shame on you Somali React for posting and supporting this, i expected better.

First off, women should not be blamed for the things they have on there bodies. Everyone should know women (partially African women) have big butts, and big breasts. And for your silly little comment, had made no noise. Don’t blame Somali React, it’s not there fault that literally women biologically will have enlarged areas in there bodies. Maybe if these so called “men” lower there gaze (like in Islam THEY SHOULD BE DOING) then there wouldn’t be a problem. The clothes are coming from the head down, what type of modesty are you thinking? They are covered and that is what modesty as in fashion wise is about. Maybe if you men were not staring as these women like a toy, or a prize, there wouldn’t be a comment like yours to go around. Why should women feel like they should be not doing modeling because of men? Shame on these men, because they shouldn’t and it’s in the Hadith too. "Tell the believing men that they should reduce/lower (يغضوا) their gaze/vision and guard their private parts..." Have a good day.
