This paranormal story held my attention through all four books in the series -- Make sure you listen to the audios of Books 1, 2 and 3 as they are found here on YT. All four books are in the three audiofiles. Loved all the characters and the plot was well-designed and intriguing. I would love to read another story of Ace and her gargoyle partners working on a future case with her nosy teenage neighbor and her girl friend who's engaged to her cop friend.

Lots of sex scenes in this which are completely unnecessary, it should be clear on it that it's adults only. Book 2 of this (right after book 1) has no ending and stops abruptly during a fight.

Are you not an adult…? If a book is in the romance category/paranormal romance, you should go ahead and just assume there will be sex scenes if that’s a problem for you, and look for romance books that specify they are “clean” romance novels. Sex is a part of normal, everyday adult life, so it’s not surprising that you’ll come across them in romance books, which are meant to act as an enjoyable escape for the reader.
