The only relationship portrayed in the story that may actually become romantic is between the strict manager lady and the guy whose ex left him with the dog (both show up in this video), who bonded over training their respective dogs-turned-human. The dogs are still dogs mentally even if their bodies changed into humans, and the owners know it and their love for their pets hasn't changed. ...Of course, we all know that if one day dogs turned human, at least one person would actually f*ck their pet dog (which would be r*pe because mentally they're still animals and thus can't consent). But that isn't shown in this story. All is cute and wholesome interactions.

Despite now having human forms, the change was abrupt so of course their mental traits remained that of a dog. Animals are smart enough to adapt, but not exactly as intelligent as humans. They adapt to the way humans walk, since normal dogs can actually be trained for that, eating is the same way. Their source for enjoyment is still different from us, if dogs find more joy in walks and balls, that’s not going to change so quickly. Dogs in general have their own personalities, and that can be easily translated to human behavior. But for a tamed pet that’s so used to being pampered, living a normal human life seems troublesome and most would probably prefer not to. HELL I THINK A LOT OF HUMANS HATE LIVING THE HUMAN LIFE. Finding them attractive may be questionable but that can’t be helped, since humans are naturally physically attracted to other humans. It’d be more fucked up if a human found an actual dog attractive. Still I can get the moral dilemma. I don’t think the mc intends to further their relationship from what I’m seeing so far, just that she thinks his doggy is handsome. I too become weak at the knees upon seeing an attractive individual. But that doesn’t mean I’m immediately in love with them.
