To be honest, I feel like Rosemary died when was trying to turn on the lights and it feels like she time-travelled. I feel like a lot of this episode was focused on how the Witch got her influence on Hudd and Rosemary but when I saw we got a video, I knew it was going to be a similar ending to movies. However, I kind of wanted to see Liam's face or have him interact with Roaemary since he was the reason we were doing these boxes anyway. I feel like the only ways Season 2 can connect is if we shift gears and have our main character be Anthony or we explore more of the backstory with the Witch and how she came to be but that was in Epiosde 3 and if they did that, i feel like it would just tying up loose ends not really leading anywhere

Absolutely loved this series!!! Season 1 is heavily referenced in season 2! It’s basically a continuation of this season! Season 2 is so good!! Hopefully you’ll get to do the whole thing!

I am late to this party and had to watch non-stop so that I could see what happens. I agree with your statement about wanting to have different puzzles break up the heavy code language from ep 1, but seeing how it all played out over all 6 boxes, i guess it made sense to get that out of the way. I haven't seen season 2 yet, but wonder how much of the code comes back. I'm also so happy that the source you got these from made sure to keep everything together. From what you were saying most of the season 2 boxes have not been opened, so will be awesome to see it fresh out of the box. Can't wait!

This was so. damn. GOOD! I loved this series! It took the best parts of the video game and the movies and mashed them together. I feel bad for the kents tho, they really messed up and had NO idea. The way last episode ended was sad too, with how quick pple were to say Rosemary was lost to the forest (they weren't wrong, but still... ICE cold) and how Elias flat out accused her of killing her husband and babies (absolutely vile).... If what Anthony said about Rosemary was true, these people SUCK!👎.....F tier humans all the way 😅 I canNOT wait for next season!

If memory serves me, she is gone completely now. It does really leave a bit of an opening. I can only say season two isn;t so much about the Kent's. All I will say is the post card you got is part of it. I really wish season two wasn't the last one they did. The puzzles and story got me so invested. I wish there were more things like this out there to play. As a side, I'm rewatching the Blair Witch game you played and it amazes me how many different connections you can make from it to the game. An example is the last name of the sheriff, lanning. There is also the creatures in the forest that are scared by light and the timber mill. I'm not sure who took inspo from who. Crazy though... I look forward to the next upload. Fun times indeed.

I couldn't wait for this upload, so I watched the livestream version when episode 5 was uploaded, and my prediction from last episode is seeming more plausible. I don't know much about the Blair Witch; I didn't know there were books and the format of the film(s) were too motion sickness inducing for me (I've seen parodies of the iconic camera in the face scene) so maybe there's an obvious answer in those Looking forward to season 2! My mom and I do murder mystery packets together and I think it would be so fun to take it to the next level and do a multi part long form one! We also need a lot of breaks so it being separated like this is perfect.

That doesn't make sense. Carver has been seen and known about way before Hud was born. Plus, at the end, we see the father lined up with Rosemary and the sons whilst someone ( likely carver ) is filming.

This series has been extremely fun, but the ending here was disappointing. Maybe it's because I'm not a Blair Witch fan, but it just felt...cheap? Nothing was really revealed or cleared up, it was just creepy vibes. I also wish we could have found out how Carver came to be Carver. The voice actress is amazing though! Really sold the terror every time. 🤩 Well, regardless of the ending being a bit of a let-down I am still excited for season 2 and curious what plot it will have. I'm hoping for more Witch lore. 🤞

That was my problem with the movie too, amongst other things like being too used to found footage movies for it to have any real impact. The ending for the Blair Witch game was the real kick in the teeth for me. The lore requirement of having you lose against the witch really takes away a lot of the agency for the video game. In any case, I'm still around because the spooks are good and lore is interesting!

I remember you wondered about the group at the end of the video being the family or something during the stream but I still think they were random people. None of them looked like kids and one of them looked like a woman. I think they might have been other victims and parents as a way to remind the player that she's killed many people. Ellis can potentially take Carver's place as the next Carver in the video game and I still feel like that ties into this somehow. Like maybe the witch's power can only do so much to keep Caver alive. That eventually someone has to take his place because the previous one's time ran out. Or maybe because their mind breaks too much for her to use after a while so she has to replace them. Otherwise, why would she bother with all the mind games that she's playing with Rosemary. I think she has to break them down first before she can use them.

Personally, these Blair Witch ones are meh. Feels like it's not very puzzle heavy, mostly story (and I don't care for the story much but I know it's your style). I would really love more jigsaw puzzles, and would prefer the mystery/escape puzzle boxes that you did before. So absolutely do what you love, but some more breaks with other puzzles in between would be nice for me :)
