Congratulations, Oliva. That's a great first muskie, bigger than my first. 😊 Ben: a suggestion. Try vertical jigging a lure near the sucker. Put the trolling motor on about 1 m.p.h. and troll your sucker along the breaklines while jigging a bondy bait, fuzzy duzzit bladebait, bulldawg, etc. Use the jigging lure to attract muskie to the sucker. This is stealing an idea from the walleye fishermen. They vertical jig while trolling a livebait rig, all the time. Works for them, should work for you too Last open water video of the year?? We could have all of November yet before ice.

@benstonefishing Ice fishermen dead stick a minnow in one hole while jigging a lure in a nearby second hole. Same concept but from a boat.

i got my first musky.... fishing for bass.... on a 200 size reel.... on 15 lb fluro.... on a bass jig..... in water i didn't know had musky in it.... in a kayak... yeah.... that was pretty cool.... lol shock of my life time... ruined my net... i wasn't sure what the heck to do... it was pulling me all over the place lol. congrats on the musky

Usually right around low 50s high 40s depending on the lake
