I get you roman. I was tongue tied and got it cliped when I was 8 ish. Now I'm 15 and I got it cliped to late. You did it at the right time because I have a permanent speech impediment. I can't read or even just speak as well as other kids and I have Spanish and I have to go to a speech therapist. And the person that suggested me to get it cliped was my speech therapist that I had for 3 years. You did the right thing and avoided what I had. It was a rare outcome that I had from my surgery.

My Son had his tongue cut at 10 days old, he is now five and speaks so well no problems with his speech. Babies don't feel the pain in that area until their 12 weeks old.
