Schoeller Family - I cannot tell you how much I enjoy watching your videos featuring Tyanna. I love witnessing the pure and beautiful love you all have for each other. In addition, it makes my heart swell that you are always introducing Tyanna to so many different types of adventures - especially swimming. Far too many Black people in this country believe Black people do not swim. There’s an ugly history behind why that rumor still exists today. It would be great if Tyanna could meet a couple of swimmers who happen to be Black, swam meets in the Olympics and medaled. I myself love swimming and I happen to be a Black American. I love watching Tyanna swim! Brought me to tears. My sons, who are 17, and 18 now, began swimming at her age. I remember their first races, and it is such a joy to see her practice and compete. I love how you are giving Tyanna the opportunity to try so many activities. We had a large pool, with high security fencing. Regardless of the safety features, I began teaching her so swim at a year old. She was an accomplished swimmer by age 3. It became her passion and she won so many medals in her school years. Swimming is great for children. Tyanna will continue to love it, regardless of what position she reaches.
