Owakwe was a very good, and patient man. He just took all his wife mistreatment , and disrespect when his business went up in flames. He was not able to provide the high standard of living that they had used to. She started to disrespect her husband without mercy. That was bad enoug; she started to encourage her daughter to disrespect her father, just like she was doing. She encouraged her daughter to go with men mostly older ones for money. She put her son out when he beat Asa, when she disrespected her dad. Ifeoma turned into a shrew, constantly cursing and nagging her poor husband, who eventually got sick. Like I said before, he was a patient man; instead of throwing out, the rude and disrespectful wife and daughter , he just took. This was an enjoyable story. Greetings from USA.
