i didnt know it either. To be fair , i dont not watch all of his videos, discussions or debates, but i do follow his posts and i never read anything about it. So i think he tries to keep it with him. I think they should just edit and mute the name. Its his struggle and i think the public doesn't have to know and surely letting everyone know and making it public is kind of "belittleing" the sin, because it send out this idea that its permissable for muslims to be gay. Any gay muslim should rather keep it to themselves and continue their jihad against their natural urges. Its nothing a muslim should ever proudly convey. Wow, this was shocking. Usually in these corners brothers have to deal with those who would like to follow desires and not kept responsible for their actions. This case is a totally opposite, now somebody who has problems with the mercy, telling that everyone has full control over decisions at every single choice, and leaves no room for temptation and as well for repentance. One never stops to learn.

The way I see it this sister is soooo confused that HER sister has become a muslim she is asking sooo many questions but not understanding one. Thats because she keeps jumping from question to another without realising why her sister has become muslim. She really needs to slow down ask one and understand it.

I found the brother tone when answering the homosexuality issue was quite soft... yes having homosexual sex doesn't take somebody out of Islam unless they believe it's Halal, but it's a major hideous sin and when people admit doing it publicly it becomes much worse because it's an act of spreading Fahishah in the Muslims society and encouraging other people to do it. I know that in the west the wave about this issue is very high, but we Muslims need to stand firmly and proudly in front of it and not to ride it. We don't need to mitigate the laws of our religion to attract people to Islam, if they become Muslims it's for their own good. What we need in these times of Fitnah is confident and proud Muslims who explain their religion loudly and clearly so that young people could look up to them and follow their lead.

I like the calmness of the brother, but sometimes some answers need to be given straightforward rather than trying to be soft. At times the brothers seemed to not give answers in a straight way and not make things more clearer. Not giving answers straightforward will leave more questions than answers.
