I find the extra HP not as impactful. Similar with Vietnamese HP. Granted longswords have almost 2x HP to xbow, still only a small buff. Give me free armor any day.

I just try to talk up my choice age of kings civ once in awhile lol. I'm aware the HP buff is an old idea that has proven not as good as extra armor/free upgrades. Maybe if the were reworked with extra HP and all infantry regenerate that'd be better
