In Pugna's defence, you can't heal a doomed target now. However, he still messed up as Glimmer cape could have saved him with the damage shield and magic resistance. Amendment: Pugna was completely unable to do anything, Doom doesn't have to destroy pipe or glimmer cape magic barrier any more.

There are currently 20,560,393,199,622,276 (20 quadriallion) possible dota lineups for each team.... that does not even account for positions. Some lineups and positions for each hero are obviously more likely than others though.

I shall add their lineup query was specifically about 2 positions so if uniform its probability 1/(n(n-1)) where n is the number of heroes. However the vast majority of these would IRL be excluded since the heroes would be in the slots they make sense for, not an offlane combo. Assume p the proportion of games where the offlane is impossible: The point at which it is more likely to have been played than not is (1-p/(n(n-1)))^x=1/2 where x is number of games played. If we then place x at 5 billion (the official number of games played) we get approximately 2*10^-6 To conclude if the games where the offlane combo is impossible (hero already picked elsewhere) outnumber the games 470,000 to 1 it has likely never occured. This is a massive number, I would guess it is almost certain that this combo has been played before even if it's because a group was playing all random or all scrubs. I would imagine 'meta' doesn't define 99.9998% of games.

Tipping for bad plays is so funny to me because it does do effective psychological damage but on the other hand it is a direct financial incentive to continue making bad plays

23:00 Sadly if you actually try to support with carry to fix it if they ever report you for not playing your role the autosistem will detect you not having a carry and u will be striked on behavor score Flax is technically right and even morally right but sadly the game report sistem is still do do DUMB

10:45 Skywrath + DK is a classic. Win your lane through DK stun and SW spells + 625 range right-clicks (buy stats on SW and faerie instead of mana regen like sage's mask), have DK rush blink and just roam with blink + stun + SW ult.

I miss techies so much. The old one. I was grandmaster and I would play it solo or with friends and would have a good time regardless win or lose. Now I don’t have a hero that I enjoy even if I lose.

As I watch the streams I don't think so. Most of what Joe says is ignored, and honestly Daf is best focuses on his own solutions. Rather, Daf really commits his full skill and on-the-ball-ness and genuinely seems to enjoy the more technical heroes. Chen, Invoker, Meepo; he has excelled. As soon as it hits a character that works counter-intuitively for how Daf thinks they'd work is when mistakes come out, which is why he has more success doing off-meta builds for them that work more how he expects.

How is daf even reasonably competent at a multi unit micro hero, but with other heroes, he can barely operate the single unit? Baffling
