Painting a Flames of War Stuka [15mm]

Today I am going to paint a 15mm scale resin Stuka made by battlefront for their game Flames of War. Come and see how I did it. Let me know what you think! I think the plane looks alright, though the model itself is a little bit of a disappointment.

I don't know if this was the very first video of HE I ever watched. But it was one of the first for sure. I was so happy that I wasn't the only one who had problems with the decals and landing gear of this model. So I am no idiot. Or if I was an idiot haveing these problems there was at least one other idiot who had the same issues. 😁

Fantastic job! I was looking for how to paint my plane and traveled through a journey of impressed and taking notes to disheartened as my skill is no where near what is required for this to taking some pointers for what i'm going to do with alacrity! Nicely done.

Use water to release the decals from the backing paper , then one the decal is on the model brush on decal fix . Or you can add some to the decal water . I've done that before and it works just as well .

I've never been a fan of Resin Kits, they always seem to be a little odd and straight lines usually end up curved. Still, you did a great job with what you had, well done mate. JJ

Realise its long time after building but I am not a fan of the resin aircraft from bf either, eduard do a set of stukas with cannon in 1/144 which are plastic found it alot nicer to work with plus you get two. Has some photo etched parts but I just left out some parts as it was for table top and reduced detail was ok. Might be worth a look if this one ended up under your car tire.😊
