Budget option: Use either a cheap AM transmitter, or a device that creates lots of AM interference, connect it to one prong of an unknown outlet (the device has to be battery powered) and just use an AM radio to listen for the signal/interference. I bet that half of the outlets in the house are just connected in parallell and are intended to be used with the "don't use" type of wire with two plugs, with a generator. Run the generator when running larger loads, and it would also charge the batteries via the outlet near the floor under the all-in-one inverter/solar charger/mains charger thingie (that obviously is way newer than the rest of the system). Or since all mains power comes from the inverter, just turn off the inverter, check that there isn't any voltage on any outlets (check for DC too, seems like some nutcase used AC mains connectors for DC solar panels near the inverter-charger thingie?). Then just tone which wire goes where. P.S. the type of tester actually used in the video isn't considered reliable for actually ensuring that no mains is present when working on something. Also: The smaller panel might be a solar panel combiner box?

You haven't lived until your well pressure tank blows apart at 3 am... Then you spend the next 12 hours finding parts to replace everything because you know it's a sunday on a major holiday weekend. Not to mention the impossible task of finding cpvc, giving up, and deciding to replumb the house to pex... and yes a lot of sharkbite fittings. I will never forget the sound, and it comes in at the top of my list of noises you never want to hear again. Air rushing past water at 120+ psi is not cool. The pressure valve worked until it couldn't relieve pressure fast enough, then the bladder blew in the tank, and finally, the tank cracked. I was able to turn off the power to the well, but the damage was done. Water all over the finished basement. I believe it was the pressure switch that failed, so the pump stayed on. Once I turned the power off, the gyser stopped.

Kind of dangerous the way you have it. and lastly the P&T valve drains to the exterior cuze they do go bad and drip a lot.

Those circuits could possibly be like on green acres.. you can total a 4.. so a 2 and a 2 or a 1 and a 3.. lol. You do need an electrician out there. As a former appliance repairman I can tell you that old GE/Hotpoint washer isn't a forever washer. There OK machines. I won't get into all the failures that can render it not worth repairing. About the only things I can think of that fail on them that are cheap and user friendly are the water pump, the water valve, the timer knob, the temperature selector, and possibly the water level switch. Oh and one other thing is there's a plastic piece under the agitator that sometimes wears out. Everything else is harder to diagnose and either extremely difficult to replace, unavailable or to expensive. There are also several iterations of that washer so lots of differences between them. The old direct drive whirlpool washers were as closest to a forever machine as you could get. They were, and still are the most user friendly and cheapest to keep running washer ever made. The engineers for whatever reason seemed like they wanted to make them easy to repair.

I would have flushed that water heater out before using it. In reality you should invest in a solar water heating system with a tank as you can use it even for providing hot water and heat for your home. Till then, when you get to trusting your gas situation, try this experiment. I usually leave my water heater (propane) on pilot or vacation mode and let the pilot warm the tank. I will take my shower and then will do the laundry but let the water heater recover over the next day or so. If you run baths or use a lot of hot water then this may not be ideal. The key is that you save gas by not using the burner to get a fast recovery or maintaining a very hot temperature. But when I need hot water, I find it plenty hot for me.
