Thought ID let you know, im building a storm shelter. The sliding hatch you have on your bomb shelter gave me and idea for my hatch cover. Its a sliding hatch adapted to my area and its weather. Curved instead of flat and spring loaded self latching.

I got one of those ryobi heat guns. Love it. Used it last to help cure a bit of epoxy and dry out the cap that keeps the flush valve from coming all the way up. The cap thing snapped off. Instead of replacing the entire thing I just added a bit of expoxy and glued it back. I got a small bottle set for fixing things like this. It the flush valve lasts another few years then the fix is well worth it.

It's handy gun for shrink tubing too. If I can find a cordless version of I tool, I grab it!

@@HerbOMatic Mine is the cordless version. I guess I did not pay attention to if it was cordless or not. I got all of the tip stored in the top drawer for easy access and so far have not used it for shrink tubing yet, I do want to try out that tip that is just for that! I searched all over the place for that tub/shower combo and still have not found that exact one. Its still blows my mind how cool and retro it is! As for your DWV. I have a feeling that it goes to a ejector pump some where. I wonder if there is any hidden rooms or lower floor areas. I installed one in a warehouse many years ago and for the bathroom we ran 2 inch copper from one end of the warehouse where the new bathroom was placed to the old DWV. This 2 inch copper line was over head and I think 200 feet long. The new bathroom floor was cut out and a pit installed in a room behind the bathroom. The pump sat on top of the tank and ground up to a slurry and pumped it up 20 feet then down the 200 foot run to the DWV. If you sewer line is indeed above you likely this is how they would have done it. Though in theory they could have also dug/built/bought a septic tank and then built a leech field. I also think that your vent lines are in your driveway areas as well. You might have another snake video soon too!

18:31 those are roach eggs. Those pipes haven't been used in a very long time. The plumbing is a traditional setup with vents. It either went to a holding tank or somehow connects to the sewer or a septic system.
