Nicholas, wish you a Happy Holiday Season! Serious question, is it possible to make your Review Herb class on teachable earn NCCAOM PDA points?
@tcmstudy Жыл бұрын
@@cookiesnsuja5690 It's something I want to do eventually, so I'll look into it. I've had a few people who are already licensed, but they're moving to a state that requires herbs, so it would make sense to get PDA's while you review. But the approval process is long and expensive, so I'll have to look more at it or get a coach

disapointing to hear usage of unwanted language. it makes your video down. i am an ardent fan of your presentation. one can empasize it using appropriate words

I think you're probably not a native speaker. It's a usual reaction, especially in places like India and Nepal... many people from outside the UK/Australia/America are surprised when they hear native speakers talk. Fuck is a word that is thrown around a lot by native speakers. There is no limitations of use of such words in these countries, except perhaps only the poshiest of Englanders would have some reservations in using the word fuck, but even they use it sparingly in conversation. Just to make you make sense about why it's being thrown around a lot. It's just the norm in these countries, so don't take it so seriously. I still have an avid memory of arguing with a Nepali about this same problem. It was 4am and the Nepali guests of the guest house I was staying in were created a lot of noise, they were having a party. It was the third night in a row that I was disturbed by their noise and that I had told them to be quiet, so this time I was actually angry, So I used the word "fuck" a couple of times. They almost resorted to the use of violence every time I used the word... I had to make them understand that the word is used a lot in the US/the UK in normal conversation, but they were really offended by my use of the word. :D

@@naturalmusic2789 Friend, there's a hole in your theory. I'm an American (born and raised) and I find cursing offensive and especially intolerable in the professional realm. It's not called 'foul language' for nothing.
@naturalmusic2789 Жыл бұрын
I tend to agree that in professional settings these words are used very sparingly. But this youtube session is after all called "drunken acupuncture podcast", so the setting is all but professional. @@ProveAllThings1Th-5-21

I actually like using "fuck" there, it makes it more interesting and live.
