Well, I just discovered your channel and I've watched this, and one other video. So far, there's a lot that I like! But in both videos, very low percentage shots were taken, and two bulls were wounded and left to die. I get it... it happens. But, 2 for 2 isn't a good look. I will continue watching, and hoping for more successful results! Love the intro, love your style of filming and editing, love the energy the and the camaraderie, and most of all, love the prayer! Amen!

46 yards, quartering to you, heavy wind, why even take that shot? Where have the hunting ethics went? I’ve been bow hunting 39 years now and I’ve never taken a shot like that. Sometimes the best shot is the shot not taken.

What a game rich honey hole. That bear was to close, my cousin got chased up a tree in UT. The bear went up the tree after him while he was kicking it in the nose it was grabbing his boots trying to pull him down. My other cousin that was with him came running over and ended up shooting it twice with his bow. They called game and fish who came up the next day with dogs to find it to confirm it was self defense. The best only ran 50 yards down through the trees and everything lined up with what my cousins said. It messed with the one that got run up the tree. He stopped hunting for quite a while. Momma bears are so unpredictable. You guys out out another great video. That bull may live they can take alot of damage since they are built to fight other bulls with giant swords on their heads. Hopefully he makes it if not that bear will not let it go to waste.

I commend you for the ethical decision to punch your bull tag on the wounded bull. I still have a hard time understanding guys decisions to shoot a quartering to big elk. It simply is not a good shot and the shoulder is right there front and center.

Thanks for the comment, I (cameraman) was to Ryan’s right by a decent amount. Ryan could see all the vitals and the bull was still quartering to him but not as bad as the camera made it look, we have killed several elk at a steeper angle quartering to than this one. In fact last season ryan shot one more quarter to than this one and the elk died in a hundred yards. Where he went wrong on this bull was hugging the shoulder, there was plenty to catch a lung and then the opposing liver, we ain’t happy about it but next time he won’t hug the shoulder for sure.

Fantastic video guys. I was just elk hunting in CO (Chris said he saw y’all when he hung out with us). I had an arrow deflect off a limb and miss and then 5 bulls within 40yds without getting a shot 🥹 tough. Respect tho

No this was Wyoming general tag and NM not a popular unit. So pretty easy to get.

I admire you telling us you punched your tag. You really did not have a shot with it quartering toward you. a magnificent animal will die with an infection. Next time wait for the boiler room. You don't have to produce a video with a shot or a kill. Hunting is not always about harvesting an animal. It would have been horrible and ethically wrong to take a shot at the other bull. Kudos to you on the restraint as you told us you punched your tag.
