They were the first two teams that we faced this year that have any realistic chance of representing our conference in the super bowl. We lost both times. The bills are not the same team as we have been in the past two or three years. We have many new players, so justifiably we are subject to much scrutiny, and will continue to be until we beat anyone of consequence. The game against the Chiefs at home I will be enormous when it comes to ourselves and others truly measuring how good we really are this year. I like our chances at home. The Ravens however are a different story entirely. They're undoubtedly the best team in football right now.

The Ravens offensively look great with a lot of talent, but defensively their defense is worrisome, as they are having a difficult time stopping the pass and closing out their games strong. 1. No doubt the Chiefs deserve the number 1 spot. What amazes me is their defensive play particularly in the 3rd and 4th quarters. They seem to never get tired in the 2nd half and you would think their entire defense keeps playing better toward the end of the game. They all possess the "never give up attitude" that makes their team a winner.

After winning our first three games, nearly all of the Seahawks main defensive players, some of their backups and top RB were on the IR for the next three games (all close losses to the Lions and 49ers who are top 10 teams, the Giants was an anomoly). The O line got so bad we had to play Stone Forsythe, the worst player in the NFL. We got some back this week and beat a four win team by more than 20 on the road. Texans should have been on the list though.
