As an avid Aussie watcher, it’s great to see milk is up by tin percint! Just joking, love your channel and how much you care for your livestock

Hi I like your video

The milk quality probably depends on feed and weather conditions as well as the cow pedigree
@TheOnceADayFarmerАй бұрын
Yes definitely 👍

Hey Andrew when you are by yourself how long does it take from getting the first herd in to washing up after the last herd. Thanks for the video
@TheOnceADayFarmerАй бұрын
Takes me about 4 hours from start of milking to walking out after wash up. Plus another 30 mins to get the cows in so 4.5 really

Spin the seal on the door after you put it back on then it'll sit flush when you close the door. If its not on properly it'll come off when you spin it.

Good trick, thanks!

Keen to hear your thoughts about flushing your best cows and putting the eggs in the not so good ones. Is the cost not worth it?
@TheOnceADayFarmerАй бұрын
I haven’t looked in to it to much, but from what I understand it’s fairly expensive and really depends on how many embryos you get and only half hold so I duno. If it works for your system then all good 👍

@TheOnceADayFarmer we do it in beef cows. It's the fastest way to get genetic gain.
