Good interview, they are pretty inside/out. I dig there's an LGBT thing.💗 You could def make a badass movie off Harley Quinn & Poison ivy. I feel like even tho movies haven't tended to make them feel gay (so a lot of the population may not ever think of them that way), there's almost this vibe where I could find it pretty believable if they were bisexual, or maybe they were kind of exploring and being bi curious. Because a lot of people go through this, including myself - I'd love a relatable character journey. It wouldn't be a stretch of the imagination, I could see people that never even thought of them that way being like, "Ooh". And that's kind of important so it doesn't feel forced or like you're overly SJW'ing or preaching at. Their sexuality not being the focal point but still important to the story, Like you could definitely still show the conflict of understanding yourself. Prolly the best way to normalize the LGBTQ community is by just being kind of normal lol I think. A lot of us really just want movies to make sense, Even though you can expand people's imagination with art, it's just like if a horror movies just go too off the deep end of believability or there's drama _only_ for the sake of drama and in no way is realistic. With zero realism I don't think you can relate as or form a bond, you might even hate the movie. Honestly we could use some beloved actors & actresses playing bisexual or bicurious characters because sometimes bisexuality can even be discriminated against by the LGBT community. It doesn't feel like it's represented very often and if it is, it may not always be in the best light. Just because you have a bigger pool of people that you could be attracted to doesn't mean you become attracted to people anymore often than someone who is gay or straight. Not every straight person is attracted to the opposite gender, and not every gay human being is always attracted to the same gender. I feel like the more you see of something done right, especially if it's done by your favourite actor or character, it really helps. It humanizes a situation and it's not so distant from you anymore. I think having black, Asian, and LGBTQ person is something that comics could really help with. They could also have a trans woman play a character that is very feminine, because I feel like that would be a little message that yes - these people can be very feminine if they so choose & can be perfect for the role. Also on the flip side there are some pretty masculine trans men that could give you that physique you want for a badass hero or villain. I feel like people finding out say in like... kind of by mistake(?) that they are trans might make them reconsider things if they aren't really pro-trans community. I grew up so sheltered and I would feel guilty for basically not feeling some kind of negative way about gay people and my own side that was somewhat attracted to women, I feel like we're in a place now where we can really help children not have to grow up so confused. Like if you don't push them one way or the other, help is just available and they're not afraid to ask for it, man things could be better. /TedTalk =x Yeah sorry.... just passionate. >.>

I am getting really tired of how there seems to be an agenda of adding in much more than before gay and bi characters into movies and tv-shows nowadays. Why do they have to overdo it ? They do this with a lot of movies and tv-shows right now where it many times feels like they are trying to feed it to you in an overkill kind of way. In the Witcher season 3 they had gayscenes all the time almost more than any other scenes. I just feel like there is an agenda behind it because they are overdoing it right now in everything and the content sometimes even suffers because of it. Why can they not just keep like "enough" like with everything else ? Right now they are acting like it is something new and they have to forcefeed it to people all the time. Gay and bi relationships have been normal for thousands of years and I think it would be enough if they kept it enough in the content right now and not overdo it like this. There is nothing special about it , fully normal, and they should keep it that way in my humble opinion.

Personally i think Ivy is a weird case that they only made weirder with Injustice. She is damn powerful AND smart and composed which means that there should be something stopping her from taking over the world be it philosophy as it is with the Swamp Thing, Harley or whatever (since unlike Joker or Harley you cant stop her with the excuse of insanity). Now that they have Harley dragged away from her, and sharping up her extremism... i feel like Ivy would be taken down for good as it was with the Joker since... well, she is not complex enough, is very powerful and out of Harley's story she is unfortunately not much of a character. Her animated versions are great but it seems that DC is still flowing around, half assing their job and have not settled on what they want Ivy to be in general. At this point from a stable, grounded anti hero she has turned into a cameo character. A movie about Harley and Ivy alone, would not help all of this at all. It may hold her up for a while but at the end of the day if there is not some work put in Ivy's character soon, they may as well just basically kill her. Which is a shame because it is not like she has shined much throughout the years unlike the Joker. Basically, nowadays DC is so focused on milking Harley that they just dragged her out of her carefully placed life, not thinking about what this would do to the other characters involved in it and balancing together. Joker was whipped out because of it and now Ivy is in danger as well, Catwoman getting more time with Batman is just another punch in it... It is just... fucked up. I know that things should be moving and we cant be stuck in one place forever but DC is rushing this progress by a lot, jumping over steps and saying "fuck it, someone will tie the loose ends later with a prequel or a spin off".
