Laura, just watched this video (June 2020) and you make the drip irrigation look so simple and easy. I'm going to try this in my front garden which is already established. Hopefully I will just have to move the mulch out, then place the drip tubing. Thank you for the inspiration. Love your videos.

I hadn't heard of most of these plants. Very interesting :) I like that you emphasize needing to layer your plants with the taller stuff in back against the fence. I still struggle with planning for bloom seasons. I need to do my research.

Hi Laura , love watching your show. You have so much energy doing all of this. By the way, I noticed you applied mulch on top of you irrigation. It won’t clogged your irrigation?
@ProvenWinnersYouTube5 жыл бұрын
That has not been a problem yet...but thanks for asking!

Thank you for this very informative video. I wonder what have you used as mulch for this flowerbed and what kind of tubing was used for watering your plants?

I like your explanation of designing concepts for a garden. I really struggle with designing of my flower bed that runs between our driveway and a fence. It is a really large, somewhat around 200 ft x 12 ft. Woodland/cottage style. Slightly sloping toward driveway. Previous owner planted some really tall low-value trees, we cut some down and left a few, so our garden bed is partially shaded. The problem is because of it's size it looks messy. I planted several of each varieties of flowers, and some parts of the garden look pretty, but it doesn't look like one whole thing. No feeling of unity of any kind. What should I do to make it look right? And I don't really want to have 200 ft of 3-4 kinds of flowers. Please help!

What type of mulch do you use? Thanks
@ProvenWinnersYouTube4 жыл бұрын
Laura has told us her choice of mulch varies, depending on what store she is at and what is on sale.

What were you using to plant these? I couldn't make it out...Bio Tone?

Laura usually uses Espoma products so I think it is their Bio-Tone Starter.
