I have a question... I am hoping to get a position by fall this year, however I also do plan that my wife who has an educational background with certification in teaching and over 3 years of teaching children of different age grade would join me on an F2 visa. I would love to inquire, what are her chances of transitioning to a work visa considering her educational background and training, if she doesn't want to go through the study route (F1 visa)

Considering what it takes for an institution to sponsor a work visa, her chances are very slim.

What would you advise her to do?

She was possibly looking at working as an early childhood educator in local school districts...

They already have your record so it may make more sense to say Yes. If you have funding for your F1 course you may stand a good chance.
