I saw this movie many moons ago! Several scenes and comments brought it all back!!!!! It was/is goofy but then that's what makes it great!!!!!

This really is a hell of a movie. Im 61 that puts me at 9 when it came out. It must be a cult classic of sorts because ive never heard hyde nor hair of it. Thanks ! Good download. Good condition the old flick. Even the comercials well placed and really not trying. (I guess the presenter has some controll over the comercial ads where and when they are placed th the download). Thanks. Happy Holidays.

If it's a hell of a movey, it must be a very bad one.

presenters do have some control when they own the copyright or have a license. in this case they don't. the low/high frequency of ads is based on view count. if there are many viewers on a live streams then ads pop up often - if there are few then they are very rare. the more you kno ☝

There was an entire series of 87th Precinct novels by Ed McBain. The movie is supposed to be like the movie MASH, lots of characters, crazy storyline. See how many character actors you can spot, even Brian Doyle Murray, Bill Murray's brother. Inspired so many shows, Barney Miller, Hill Street Blues. Screenplay by Evan Hunter...same person as Ed McBain. Here's some trivia, they're both psuedonyms. Joke was on everyone.

@8:40 giant boxes of "mylantha," a play on the antacid, I assume. Blue bottles are scattered around the office and others that look like Pepto Bismol, Bayer, and Listerine. Saw this a while back, but only after seeing it again and seeing the guy in the cage screaming for his lawyer did I catch the connection between this and Barney Miller. Much funnier the second time around.

awesome intercity gritiness of the past. love the old buildings that could be converted into amazing apartments. so many classic cars and trucks that were new at the time. And nasty cigarettes. i worked 33 years at a hospital and people could smoke in there offices and in the cafeteria. the clean indoor air act helped millions of people quit tobacco.and i see fewer people throwing cig butts out there car window that eventually get rained in to our sewers and water processing plants. usa gets better every year with a few set backs that keep voters on there toes. if you dont vote dont complain.

highlarious details in this movie. pepto bismol to pint size booze..i do know as fact that workers at the time in news production on all levels of tv and radio, news were freaking plasterd and amazing that they were able to produce news and information. freaking news paper production had no margin for print setters and printers accuracy. the high end reporters depended on the print setters to correct the reports.
