Had fun here with the short window of snow that blanketed Butlersbridge Thurs 24th Feb 2022. Headed through the village at the ghostly hour of 4:30am in the hope to get some footage of the Bridge, without tyre tracks and footsteps, just a nice fresh undisturbed blanket of snow.. That didn’t really work out. Oxigen dustbin lorry and crew were out doing the rounds. Giving me the beady eye as I was looking over the Bridge with the river in high flood, any rightly so. I can only guess what they were thinking. Anyway, a planned rendezvous with Gerry at the Derrygarra followed, and we proceeded to take as much footage as possible, before the Bridge locals got up. We knew the snow would be gone fairly quickly. So we did the best with what we got. Enjoy the video of Gerry Henderson's original song “Here comes the great pretender”
