PLEASE VISITORS TO KRUGER PARK:
Respect the Wildlife AND other tourist!
• Please give the Animals space.
• Don’t drive next to animals when they walk down the road.

- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals

There must be some laws put in place in KNP. The way drivers swerve in and out the paths of lions is incredibly dangerous. I do not care if they paid money. The safety of the animals must come first.

I was one of the first cars there... found most drivers VERY CAREFUL and accommodating... but yes, nobody likes so many cars so close to animals... so I turned around and went looking for something else. No lions were in any way threatened at all, but they were definitely crowded, too much for my liking. In Kruger the lions/leopards are so used to cars that they even use them as "portable blinds" to stalk animals from! The previous day I parked on the H6, and just before gate closing time Casper came out of the grass and rubbed his side against my little Suzuki Ignis car, resting against it in the bit of shade I provided. He was quite chilled!

There is one person in the comments who in every video never misses the opportunity to belittle Casper and praise Mfowethu. It has been said more than once that the lioness with 3 cubs was seen mating with Casper and that the odds of being Casper's offspring are higher, but he keeps insisting that they are Mfowethu's offspring (it doesn't matter to me who the father is) and saying he doesn't understand why people are interested in Casper, saying that he has nothing special. I ask God for patience to deal with people as childish as this guy. Leave Casper alone! How can someone hate a lion? There's no reason to hate him just because you prefer Mfowethu! Casper has an extremely rare and unique coloring and it's more than understandable why he's the focus of most sightings! Just love these 4 handsome and majestic brothers and stop fighting like this is a fan club! The lack of maturity of some here is sickening me. Go watch a football match if you're that interested in rivalry, because here we love ALL the lions! Anyway, this was a wonderful sighting as always. I am so grateful for always keeping us updated on this magnificent coalition of brothers! Hope that by the end of the year this Pride will be with many offsprings of Footloose, Casper, Mfowethu and Casanova ❤

My husband and I enjoy watching these beautiful creatures. We have watched so many videos and different stories about all the different prides. I always thought The male Lion had it made in the shade, easy life. Boy was I wrong. The first ones we became familiar with were the Mighty Mapogos. Then from there to all the different Lion prides in parks and reserves all over Africa. They can have such complicated and uncertainties, just survival alone is risky, esp for the cubs.. I just wish that they could stay safe from humans. Lots of them have fallen prey to poachers and Trophy hunting. They have enough to contend with from just the other Lions.🙏❤️

Like Somebody Said, Car Show! Then There Were Lions! The idiot in the van can't give the lions time to move on before turning around and the green Jeep is back. I'm assuming that the driver in the white cars are the ones who bring us these great videos turned their engines off, I would like to know what was sprayed on their car, if anything, to attract the lions and cause them to want to sniff around the backside of the car and lay on it or do they really prefer white cars. I'm curious as to why they obstructed the lions pathway when he stopped instead of parking closer to the side of the road. We see the same cars in these videos and they still act as if they've never seen a lion before. Satara really need to enforce the rules that were made to better protect these lions. It is always great to see these remarkable boys and girls. I would have loved to have seen these big boys adorable cubs.
@MyAfricaAdventures
@MyAfricaAdventures 2 жыл бұрын
Nothing is sprayed on the cars! They are smelling and rolling in Buffalo Poop. All cats do that - smelling and rolling in their preys poop helping them in their hunt for that prey - in this case their favorite - Buffalo. And please don't assume. Thanks for watching and your input. And as I mentioned: Casper and brothers are famous and will always be followed by people trying to get a great photo shot of them - Something like the paparazzi followed Lady Diana? The only way to stop that is to ban ALL visitors to the Park and close the park down due to no funding and put Casper and brothers and all the animals behind bars in Zoos all over the world.
@jenniferross8793
@jenniferross8793 2 жыл бұрын
@@MyAfricaAdventures Which part should I not assume? I only assumed that you guys are the ones in the white vehicles who bring us the videos because the same white cars are always moving ahead of other vehicles and videoing or will make their way around other vehicles that come up and the same two white cars will attempt to always be upfront and make their way upfront. I just thought to myself that it must be you guys who bring us this fantastic coverage of Casper and his pride members. We can see people filming while driving and the same white cars are always on the scene. I was just trying to put faces with the outstanding video providers. As far as the lions rolling in poop, I'm aware of that, I didn't see nor notice any on the road prior to them walking up to your vehicle and rubbing up against it nor did I see signs of poop on the road after you all went through. Therefore, I was wondering if something had been sprayed or put on your vehicle that would cause such a reaction as a legitimate and valid question. Just like the people in the green Jeep was back on the scene that day and the person driving the van showed a lack of disregard and disrespect for allowing the lions to move ahead and as freely through their pathway before turning around and rudely going through to get ahead of the lions to sit and wait for them to reach the point of where they were sitting on the sideline up ahead. If by chance that I didn't observe poop on the road and others did, it was an oversight on my part that prompted what I thought to be a valid question and if it struck a nerve in you then I apologize. The problems appear to be that the park management staff is not enforcing the rules that they set which should be about the safety and protection of the animals first and foremost and that humans should use simple common sense and do the right thing which is to respect these animals and their spacing when invading their territory and to stop acting as if they have never seen these lions before. I understand the excitement, but disagree with careless behavior from adults who should know better.

There is a lot of speculation. But I've seen on FB that the 7 young males originated from a unexplored part in Kruger where there are no roads etc. So nobody really knows who their fathers are.

@@bradjb2404 ohhh.. Is it so then why they are called satara males? I thought that they were sired in satara pride

Casper and brothers are from the Shishangaan Pride and are called the Shish Brothers. The so called Seven Satara's is nonsense. They originate somewhere from the Northern Parts and now control the Southern Pride. They had nothing to do with the new Satara Pride of Casper and Brothers.
