This cross out garbage is really boring. Yesterday, in another forum, for the first time in my 57 years, I note the words of William I, as he set foot in 1066 Hastings. "J'ai ici!" And look what garbage pops out sideways. I thank Eric Schmidt for making Google possible.

Jonathan safran Foer is a horrible person. He thinks we should eat dogs. He says, "...as Jonathan Safran Foer has argued in his book Eating Animals. He points to dogs as a plentiful and protein‑rich food source, and asks: "Can't we get over our sentimentality?" He continues: "Unlike all farmed meat, which requires the creation and maintenance of animals, dogs are practically begging to be eaten. If we let dogs be dogs, and breed without interference, we would create a sustainable, local meat supply with low energy inputs that would put even the most efficient grass-based farming to shame."

Stop spreading misinformation. Foer is against killing animals and wrote an entire book about how eating meat is unethical titled “Eating Animals.” Those cherry-picked quotes are from a satirical essay where he tried to show how absurd the arguments in favor of eating animals are by presenting a variation of Jonathan Swift’s “A Modest Proposal” (another famous satirical essay that advocates eating the poor). Here is the conclusion of Foer's satirical argument: “despite it being entirely reasonable, the case for eating dogs is likely repulsive to just about every reader of this paper. The instinct comes before our reason, and is more important.” Safran’s whole point is that, instinctually, we feel that dogs have an intrinsic value that is greater than the value we can rationally assign to them based on their utility to us. In the same way that Swift used satire to highlight the intrinsic value of human life, Safran is using satire to highlight the intrinsic value of the lives of animals.
