Kevin Gillis is a genius...show creator, episode writer, singer-songwriter (yes he wrote all the songs for the series and all 4 specials)

@@Hulk2k6 Ah, so basically you bought it in 1988 or whenever it was released or you were pretty much stuffed! I searched for hours for a copy and never found anything! its literally the only thing she's well known for I'd have thought she wouldn't let it stay out of print forever! I had to download some of it off limewire and even that was likely off a passable vinyl copy, I asked her directly on Facebook once! surprise surprise no answer! she went right down in my estimations that day.

@@katakisLives Well, she's known for this and voicing Lisa Racoon in 6 episodes, yeah. Also she's super touchy about being pestered about that period of her life (Fans have bombarded her on social media with relenltess questions)

I used to absolutely LOVE this song on the show. I remember trying to actually tape it off the TV as well. How could I have known that many years later I could listen to it properly whenever I wanted on KZbin?

@@Hulk2k6 I don't think it did. CD was still in it's infancy during the 80's.
@David3158423 жыл бұрын
CD's were not in high enough demand back then as CD's were in their infancy and were more expensive than vinyl. The album itself was only released in Canada, hence why it was rare, but recently Back to Analog Records have reissued it on vinyl.

I found out earlier that Keith Hampshire was a singer. He did the voice of Lloyd (Pig One) on the later seasons of The Raccoons. Until I found out that this was Curtis King Jr. singing it with her, I thought it was actually Keith Hampshire. It kind of sounded like Lloyd Pig was singing with her.

This was a LP that was released by Lisa Lougheed as Run With Us became some what of a hit! Yes i am pretty sure all the music was in the Cartoon! If i remember right it said it right on The LP Cover and also the LP was call Everygreen Nights :)

Actually, she didn't write any of the songs. Just sung them. Kevin Gillis, Jon Stroll and Steve Lunt wrote most of the songs.
@raymondkitchen61375 жыл бұрын
I believed the back of the album was something like "music from and inspired by The Raccoons". I'm not sure if every song was featured in the show. If the nine songs, give are just her singing, I believe two are diets and two someone else sings if I'm not mistaken. I'm not at home so I can't check the record sleeve.

@@raymondkitchen6137 Yep. Steve Lunt gets a Solo track "Don't fear the fire" (used in Episode 11) and Curtis King gets a solo "New World" (which would be worthy of a Raccoons Motion picture)
