I agree & we’re not putting down South Africa, but it’s safer to order cars via Tanzania than thru South Africa. I did order a car from Japan about 10 yrs ago & it was cleared safely via Dar es Salaam

in Japan you will pay around $400 but in Nakonde you pay around K2500 to K3000 so in short it can be inspected from Nakonde.

Not sure how much experience traveltainment might have for that, I think you would have better chances of getting info if you asked around overlanding forums (sorry I don't know of any) by maybe south Africans or even British people who have done that before
