Romley will be recalled noodleville with all the track you plan to add. Your rock work really looks great, enjoyed the rail fanning.

Functionality trumps all else. Love your layout. I have a couple of broken locomotives I plan to use as wrecks on the layout I'm gonna build in the near future. I had to tear down my layout when I lived in Georgia when we moved to Tennessee and haven't rebuilt it yet. Wife wants to move off the mountain where we live and get closer to town. After we move this last time I will build an HO and an O scale layout since I've collected enough Lionel 027 to build an O scale layout. Strictly DC for me, no DCC as I hate the tinny sound of HO DCC. Your dad did a great job on those retaining walls. Cherish those moments you spend with your dad! After much swearing and cussing I just completed a Tichy Train Group flatcar which has an amazing detail on the underside of the flatcar. Even though the brake detail was kinda fiddly, it came out great. I followed the directions to the letter and wish I hadn't. I broke all the stirrups off when I was installing the bronze phosphor grab irons. If you ever build this kit, install the stirrups LAST. I did make my own stirrups out of some desk top staples from the stapler and they came out looking good. I painted every board on the deck a different shade of brown mixing the colors in a communion cup as I went. No two boards are the same color. Looks really good now that I've finished it. Cheers from eastern TN

Nice little run around with a train. Always worth popping in for a little bit. :)

Very nice work. Thanks for posting. What’s the issue with doing the scenery first and then the track work? Thats how it works in the real world. I can imagine a HO scale blasting and drilling operation going through the mountain to create the tunnel. Let’s improvise with firecrackers. 😊😊

You have a very good point, I like it. Maybe I'll start telling people. I do things more prototypical by doing all the scenery first, then tear it a part to add track..
