Thanks for the video. It helped to confirm what I saw from some other tech KZbinrs . It would help greatly, beyond what you know, to go much slower, so that the totally computer illiterate can follow you, without having to rewind and replay what they're hearing you say, because they might not understand the terminology of computers, etc. Or, maybe create an alternate video for true beginners. Question. If my laptop has intel(r) iris(r) xe graphics driver instead of Geoforce, should i leave it as it is, or look to install something else?

Download the drivers from the manufacturer's website. You can try downloading it from the Intel site, but it will likely ask you to go to the manufacturer's website.

FYI to new viewers. Setting up a new laptop with windows 11 does not give you the option of NOT connecting to the internet. If you don't have a connection it won't let you go forward.

You don't want to fully drain the battery and leave it dead. Definitely keep it charged as much as possible. I keep mine plugged in most of the time

You should be fine. I normally just start using it as well. There are 2 schools of thought when it comes to battery longevity. You can either charge it up completely at first or drain then recharge the battery. Keeping it plugged in at all times actually ruins the battery faster. As a battery get closer to 100% charge, it gets harder to charge and would require more power to charge up to 100%, which, after a whole bunch of chemistry, decreases battery longevity. Also, letting it drain completely and then charge it, although better, decreases battery life. The best way to do it is to charge around 50% and unplug around 70% to have the longest battery longevity.

So this is basically a nuclear option. It will get rid of everything. If you need to get rid of a little bit of the apps. I would uninstall them individually.

You won't have a calculator app when you need. Those kind of apps. If you don't need em, then go for it.

Go to Start>Settings>Privacy and go through all the settings there. I would change the DNS to cloudflare 1.1.1.1. And I would uninstall any samsung bloatware and software that isn't needed. And get a VPN. I use and am affiliated with PIA, link in the bio if you are interested.

No problem! I do a local account if I'm just testing the system out or I don't want to put in a password, it does ask for it, but you can leave it blank and it will work. I think you also get a little bit more privacy, so that's a plus. Now there are some cons for a local account. One is that you can't sync your information across all of your deceives. Also, there are some Microsoft features that get turned off as well, and you don't get all of the updates. When you select local account it tells you the limitations of it.
