This is why I never debate or argue or play the list game because 1) none of is qualify to speak on the "A" and the "T" in GOAT: we haven't always lived as long as time and we will pass on from time at some point, so, no, not "Of All Time"; if anything "of my generation" or "of ____ era" or "of [fill in whatever year]". 2) ART IS SUBJECTIVE. Men get out of control with competition gor competition's sake sometimes; it is perfectly fine to say Jay Z doesn't do it for you but Lil Wayne or Bun B is everything--no one can refute that if Bun B got you through your baby father making a baby on you at the same time you pushed out or if Lil Wayne gave you the confidence to win the interest of the hardest to fucc bitch you ever seen.

I think Jay has better music over an extended period than LL, Kane and Rakim... LL has 2 classic albums and one very good album... a whole bunch of hit singles, but a whole bunch of album flops, too... after the early '90s, he became boring. Kane has one classic album and one good album... he tried to be a lover/playboy like LL and came out sounding way corny... he's definitely an architect like LL for his '80s output, but his overall career is pretty bland. Rakim has 3 classic albums with Eric B., but a lackluster solo career... he and Kane had the best two songs on the Juice soundtrack, though, but after Let the Rhythm Hit Em, his career kinda tapered off to me. Jay has one bonafide classic and 2 arguable classic albums, so 1-3 classics, depending on who you ask.. he also has several good albums and several mediocre albums... his output is greater than the others because he released 10 albums in like 10 years... he also has a slew of hit singles and he has been able to remain relevant over 3 different decades, which is something that the other MCs on your list failed to do
