Here is why nobody rides this trail at Dyfi Bike Park...

The Gulley of Doom is the end game boss of Dyfi Bike Park. Watch the video to see just how technical this trail really is and why not many riders dare to ride it! As I have ridden it in the past, I was fully expecting myself to ride it again, being a better rider and having a better bike than before, but boy was I put back into my place ha! Its clear the trail has weathered making it even more difficult. Even the Atherton's themselves seem to avoid it now after having a quick word with them! We didnt have time to check Slab Track which is close in difficulty but I expect a similar affair there too! I do wonder if its just too much risk for pro riders themselves to ride it in current state?

I tried this 1st time last year. It's a nice trail but when I got to that bit it was a no for me. It was wet, slippy and my first time at this park. So I ended up sliding down and grabbing the bikes. As you said the run out , we'll there's no margin for error .

@@egbah428 yah sometimes have to make the right decision! As mentioned, I have ridden it before and you can find the video but comparing the conditions, it's night and day now!

You're right, that does look disgusting. Dyfi is so much harder now than it was a few years back.

shows how much the gopro effect flattens things out, didn't look all that bad until you actually had to climb down it. then you could see how bad it was.
