Very impressive! I always wanted build a racing rig ever since I bought my racing steering wheel, but I'm on a tight budget. I did manage to take a foldable car seat from a mini van and build a custom chair out of it.

Same here currently in the process of building an old 2001 VW Polo racing simulator with working AC and a few more little features including a radio for music and wired up gauges at the end of the year or when I get most of the parts I will be posting on my channel the whole story so stay tuned if you want to see the finished result

one of the best DIY rigs I saw. thanks for taking the time to put the slideshow together. easy to follow if you want to do the same. Omly thing I would do different (Id did it for my rig" would be: go to offer up and search for any JVC home theater 5.1. I bought mine for $30 dollars and they work wonderful. You will love it. But other than that, congratulations, it looks amazing.

Moin, you made a fine RIG there I'm more of a hobby at ACC at the Series X and just looked at what material had accumulated over the years. I built my RIG completely out of wood and this is what it looks like now. It only has to be filled and then painted black with orange accents. However, it has become quite massive (1.72 mx 1.20 m). I built in the Gamechair as only I am allowed to sit in it. So he didn't have to go on any rails. Unfortunately, the options on the XBox are very limited. I took the 3 vibrators + control from an old massage mat, screwed 2 of them into the seat and the third to the pedals. Connected via the subwoofer of the Gamechair. Not as optimal as on a PC, but the result is astonishingly good. Engine vibrations, curbs or gear changes are simulated well. I can proudly say that I have made something fantastic for me out of "junk in the basement". Except for a few corners, I had everything lying around. I think it's great when someone thinks about it and builds something for themselves. Anyone can buy ... 😄 Definitely a nice video of you with a great result. The level of detail you've gone for is impressive. I mean wiring up the fricken dash! Respect, although I'd imagine the compatibility between titles would vary? It's only a minor gripe, but the only thing I don't like is the visible speakers. Mind you I bet it sounds awesome. Good job Sir!

@@Blodo73 a sports car seat is design in a way to grip your body so you don't fall of at high speeds. that won't happen with your setup becasuse you're not moving, the only thing that would happen is that you would have a better looking, but way more expensive, and uncomfortable seat. in regards to leather. if you live in a hot place you will hate yourself if you chose a leather seat
