I have made an app and a stickermod that can be used to achieve a similar effect. The difference is that my design features AR stickers, meaning you can actually preform turns on the puzzle and see it's colours through the phone app, which will be compatible with VR goggles :) it's not finished yet, but it's right around the corner!

Robert Baker that's exactly what I did. I'm the guy who created the QR code stickers in RedKBs video, and I made an app that turned the QR codes into painted, coloured tiles and printed them on in the AR app. Though due to the complexity of the QR codes, I had to design new, more distinguishable stickers. Omg I wish is was what I thought it is. I was thinking of a one colored cube where you can only see the colors with the phone. Somewhat of a challenge for blind or something, but this is cool too. Fun video 👍

To me it feels like a rushed product. My guess is there was no user testing, they didn't dogfood their own app, and there are some user cases not taken into account.

I was just playing with this feature yesterday XD. It really messes with your brain, especially if you’re familiar with a normal hands on cube. Those 12 minuets were worth it though.

Yeah the implementation of be mode is wonky at best. I was able to try out this cube at a tech show a but more than a year ago. Wasn't the worst ever but compared to properly daydream integrated apps it's just a gimmick

none of it is vr, it is both ar but one has a headset. Vr would be if everything (the background, your hands, your body, etc) was all computer generated, rather than just taking it all from a camera, and converting it. After all, your room isnt virtual, is it? lol, a good way to (i guess) remember it would be just thinking of augmented reality) just being reality, changed (augmented) and virtual reality, being completely, well, VIRTUAL! lmao

Creekside Cubing first of all , I'm not looking for hatred , I'm looking for my right in living like other humans around the world , If you were me , if you were a 16 years old Palestinian girl that suffers every single day because of the Israeli occupation , you would probably agree with my opinion . Second , it is not an issue of winning or losing , it is a conflict between justice and injustice , these occupiers are KILLING , ARRESTING AND HUMILIATING US EVERYDAY ! , and the world wants from us to be peasful while our human rights , lands and bloods are being taken from us . However , you can search in history and international laws, you will find that rejecting and resisting the occupiers is guaranteed by international laws (Geneva conventions) , you will also find that lots of countries around the world have been occupied and all of them ( except Palestine ) have got its' independence , so occupation had never continue. So if there were justice in this world , we must be the "winning" side , we must get our freedom. ( Sorry for my horrible English writing ).
