Me and my group along with my sister were there when it happened. We forgot our IDs and walked all the way back to our campsites (my sisters camp was in the overflow) and right after we all got back to the stage is when it happened… None of us had any clue there was a shooting until my sister was locked out of her campground. Thinking about how close we were to being potential victims will stick with me for the rest of my life. I’m so thankful that my friends and family are alive and RIP to all of the victims. My hearts go out to their families 💔

This rocked my world. These festivals always felt so safe with everyone there just to relax, release, and vibe with good company… condolences to the families of the victims and those injured. I hope you can heal not only physically but mentally from this tragedy

I have a friend who was close friends with one of the victims. His brother told me that the suspect has been arrested and is facing a slew of charges including murder, hate crime(the two dead victims were a same sex couple), unlawful discharge of a firearm, possibly terrorism, etc. There were lots of witnesses including the Good Samaritan who came face to face with the suspect and helped the victims with his EMT training.

@@NightKidBrandon he did not kill his girl, he did shoot and injure her. The two women that he did kill were a couple. Don't know if they knew the shooter or were just innocent bystanders.
