I'm friends with a guy on rec room and he taught me how to build a plushie earlier on. I'm on mobile so I can't do the big builds like the majority of the community can, but with his instructions and help, I can hopefully make more decor in the future. I can't wait to start this journey 😊.

This was a great watch! I 100% support everything you've gone over in this. It resonates with my own view and mantra: "We must create for its own sake, not for fortune or attention or applause". Build because you love it, and let rewards come, or not, but it is purely secondary to the original goal of making something. It's why I'm still on RR, and why I can't take a break longer than 6 months before getting the itch to come back and start making again. Actually, that's something I'd recommend: Take a break every now and then. When you come back after a brief hiatus from RR, you'll have a very different perspective, fresh eyes, and a new drive to create. Its fantastic for creative blocks or dwindling enthusiasm and creativity.

The thing is, people are usually only good at circuits or building. But I get the best of both worlds. Also I HIGHLY agree with the thing you said about the best team to work with is your friends that you work well with.

Best thing to do is join a maker pen class . There is one for every type of thing. Horror . Building props . Building terrain . Circuits . And anything else . Before going to one i had no idea how to do anything with the maker pen then i went to one called beggining and everything . Won almost all the trophies for the class and now ive made about 3 or 4 small games with only a few hundred visits but ive made about 12k tokens so far

yeah, honestly my stuff that is made isn’t godly, but i had a good idea to revamp a city parkour game and give it it’s own unique climbing system. i spent hours and hours making a cv2 (which i knew almost nothing about) and used online tutorials to make a unique climbing system for my game. then, it absolutely flops. nothing i did would help and i gave up on making rooms for a bit a little after this. this video gave me inspiration to try again, though. i have a notes tab dedicated to rec room ideas and i will try and make one a reality. love you bvr.
