I've found that sometimes, the auto extractor doesn't deplete the node so as long as you readjust the extractor, it will draw more of the resource.

You don't need the proximity repeater in your setup. Use the tether of the storage sensor and connect it to the rail car. If you look closely the proximity repeater triggers always the train station. If the setup is a little different, it can activate or deactivate something in it's range.

Hello y'all if you want the extraction of astronium to be faster you just need to overclock it it can't go about 3x faster and it makes the extractor only use 1 power

"Infinite" You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

All resources in the game are finite, so indeed, it cannot be infinite. This is a misnomer that players make on Astroneer. The only solution to having astronium infinitely is in events.

I use "infinite" as in "more than you could ever need in the game". I know it's not literally infinite:)

Did you not put the medium storage silos on the railcar because of the size of the tunnel/ getting stuck? Seems like if you put the silos instead of the medium storage you would be able to bring back a ton more with each haul

i can get the set up to work fine but when i try to add a railcar to speed things up it doesn't work no matter what i try

Connect the "storage sensor" to the large storage and the "storage sensor tether" to the rail car. Took me a while to realize I didnt have the tether on the rail car. Get rid of the proximity sensor.

How does this work, does the extractor provide infinite astronium, or just so much that it's all you'll ever need?

You need a storage sensor. Place that on the storage and it should work!

reloading the save resets the node looks like, so basically everything is infinite if u use auto extractor

@@h2rv You need to find all the A Model chips. You should see a mission sending you to the north pole of Glacio. If you don't see it, then you need to complete other missions before that one triggers.
