Your absolute correct on the card back re-releases of figures. The vast majority of Star Wars figures I got as a kid were actually on Return of the Jedi cards.

Great stuff GQ. I used to keep the card backs after I had opened my figures. However I remember one day, we were either moving house or tidying up, and my Mum saying in an irritated way "Do you really need these?" and me being under pressure, saying "I suppose not". I try hard not to regret that day! I always used to try and keep the packaging, but my parents thought I was a hoarder... they still do, lol. I've still got most of my OG SW toys though, so not too disastrous!

@@GQJedi No, indeed! I find that applies to a lot of things- toys, games, musical instruments, even computers. If you keep them long enough, they become "retro" or "vintage" and start to gain value again. My Star Wars toys were always priceless to me, even when you couldn't give the stuff away!

Those really look great man! ESB is my favorite movie too! I am an open collector but I have one MOC that I picked up from a vintage store about 10 years ago. Those are really cool to have in a collection here and there. Like those acrylic cases too.

Another cool video. I started collecting Kenner loose action figures about four years ago and then I picked up a few mint on card about 3 years ago. Love watching your episodes. Now I'm up to about 14 on card back and I've picked them up from various places. All of them that I picked up help all doubled in price. I picked up one just because of the Zehrs price tag haha. It's weird somebody else on them before me but now they're mine and neighbor calling to me to buy them. None of the ones I have are worth probably as much as yours but I still like the ones I've got and look forward to finding more. Keep up the great work

General Lando and Dengar were key for me but so were the others. Great Stuff man. The thing is the card art is spectacular the Figures were great but thats why i love the stuff of today, but its the new sculpts combined with the card picture that is amazing.

Great figures. :) I'm totally jelly of your Gen. Lando. That's one of my favorite figures. I have a semi carded Endor Leia. The blister's been cut flush with the card, but that's as close as I'm going to get to a carded figure for the time being, but she IS mint. :) It's still got the tab but I do think it may've been on the hook at some point. I understand having them , going to stores an not opening them as a kid was toruture, I don't buy them to expensive.. the bad thing is in movement the cardbacks get bent or tore up.

I don't think any kid kept them in the package. They are definitely expensive nowadays, that's for sure! And I've seen photos of collectors getting MOCs with bubble shifted or cardback jacked during shipping. It definitely happens.

Nice cards, thanks for sharing. Have you seen the upcoming Morphy auction? Some guy had crates of MOC cards stored away since the 70's and is now selling. Auction is scheduled for Feb 1 - 3. Maybe you could do a stream of the auction. A telescoping Luke Skywalker has already reached a pre-bid of $12,000!!

Seems like price of MOC figures has skyrocketed over the past 5 or 6 yrs. You used to be able to track down certain ROTJ figures for under a $100.00 but not now.

That is correct! Everything has gone up as there seems to be more interest these days in older toys from Kenner.

Hi William. Welcome to the channel!! MOCS are a lot of fun to collect. And yes, you absolutely have to do your homework nowadays so you know you're getting legit Kenner. Unfortunately, I do not know of any one person or company that sells them. My advice to you would be to join the Star Wars facebook groups and buy from those folks. Groups like the Imperial Commissary only buy, sell and talk about legit original Kenner. In the past, I have gotten many toys from that FB group. There are others of course. Just search around Facebook and you'll find them. Happy hunting, my man!
