That lion was not killed by hyenas. It was most likely killed by another grown male and eaten by the hyena. Many young males die that way.

It's hard to believe that a hyena can defeat such a huge lion.

Indeed, it is surprising how a hyena can take down a lion, as they are generally smaller and weaker. However, hyenas are known for their strength in numbers and their cooperative hunting strategies, which can make them formidable predators even against larger prey.

Wow, I didn't expect hyenas to beat lions in hunting games.

Yes, hyenas are often underestimated, but they are actually quite formidable predators with powerful jaws and excellent hunting skills.

The hyena is really scary! I can't imagine how we judged them.

It's important to remember that all animals have their own unique characteristics and behaviors, and shouldn't be judged solely on stereotypes or misconceptions.

This shows that sometimes small and weak animals can also be fearsome predators.

That's right. It's important to recognize that size and strength don't always determine who the top predator is in a particular environment.

Wow, feels like watching an action movie when hyenas beat and eat lions.

Although it may seem like an action movie, it's important to remember that this is a natural phenomenon and part of the cycle of life in the animal kingdom.

I used to think that only the lion was the king of the grasslands, but now I have to change my mind.
@atpearth Жыл бұрын
There are other animals that can be considered as kings of the grasslands, such as the elephant, the buffalo, or even some species of birds.

Unbelievable! Can hyenas eat lions?
@atpearth Жыл бұрын
Yes, hyenas are known to scavenge and hunt lions, and have been known to attack and kill lions, especially young or injured ones. However, such incidents are relatively rare, and lions are still considered to be apex predators in their habitats.
