Dusty, I would rather watch a video someone else has taken of you focused on the job in front of you - and have you talk to us about what went on like you did in this video. Your safety, the safety of your helpers and the bison, is your first job. You take care of us by making sure that you have your lovely wife, Marissa, or a friend video. We all love and appreciate you. Thanks for taking us with you. Blessings to everyone

You have a lot of work to do, not only with the bison, but clearing the ranches, moving or building fences, etc. I think it will be great if someone you trust to be there filming for you when you are busy. Thanks so much for taking us along on raising your bison ranches. I have always been fond of the stories of the Buffalo and how special they were to the Native Americans long ago. The people during those times did such an injustice to these animals and the Indians. Am so happy to see you and others in the west caring for the bison. So you do not need your fans permission to do what’s best for you and the animals. Anyone complaining..just consider the source and let it go… thanks, Dusty.

Love seeing and learning about these majestic creatures and seeing them once again on sections of the great plains, even if they are behind fences. You take such great care of them and it is wonderful and kind that you bring us all along however it works out for you you to do so! Over the years you've made lots of wonderful friends. Some weld, some video, some own bison also, like Doc Baker, and some are family like Daniel, Austin, and Houston Arms and Kevin. Each one has something special to offer. Enjoy meeting them all and seeing how you all work together for the benefit of the bison. Hope you can eventually get a hydronic squeeze chute!! If it's portable like Doc's, you only need one! Don't worry. We've all had issues catching chickens, goats, cows, horses, dogs, cats, children, something. God bless! Hope you, Marissa, and Brooks had a Happy Easter.

I, for one, am thrilled with the way you are working these larger groups of bison. I am familiar with working g Herefords snd that had its moments. Bison are a w hole new level and then some. I am thrilled you are prioritising your safety as well as volunteers and paid staff. There have been some very close calls in the past that have had me very very worried. Thrilled about the new crush too. They are such a mighty improvement for both humans and bison. Hang in there Dusty. Non farming people do not always have an understanding of just how dangerous and scary the animals can be. Bison seem such a romantic ideal but reality is rather more physical and unpredictable when working wild animals.Your regulars understand. Take a deep breath. Relax and move on. Being a pioneer in a new industry has its highs snd challenges. You have worked miracles in the last 2 years. Smile on the dial snd March forth to the next adventure.

Putting your full focus on the bison, their safety, and the safety of everyone involved is absolutely the right and responsible thing to do. It is far too easy to sit safely in our living rooms and dictate how we think others should do a thing that we know nothing about. It's entirely different when you are right there in the middle of a situation and hold the responsibility of your animals health, safety, and well-being, as well as that of the people who are helping you. You do a great job with and for your bison. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences, as well as your lives, with us 🙏💗🙏

It's always encouraging when a young person is interested in learning about and carrying on this great work you and your crew are doing. The American bison is something we must cherish as part of our heritage. It's also just, in that settlers almost hunted the majestic animals to extinction, so to see you so dedicated and putting your livelihood on the line to grow and flourish these herds, not to mention the dangerous aspect of daily contact with a 2000# BEAST. I have nothing but respect for what you and your family are doing. Thanks from Oregon.

Thanks for the feedback Denise that’s a good point. Chandler and I are used to being behind a camera so it’s just more natural for us to get different perspectives and ask questions that get people to talk about what we just filmed. Dusty has mentioned introducing helpers so viewers aren’t thrown off by random ppl and voices, so I’m sure over time we’ll get more comfortable being on camera 😅 And you’re right! A hydraulic chute would be very nice, Marisa and I have discussed setting up a fundraiser for Dusty’s birthday that could help a little with the costs. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel! -Cole

Dusty--EVERYTHING you do is wonderfully done! Safety MUST be your priority! You are blessed to have such supportive family and friends, and you need to care for them as they work with you. This is your family's business, and for all of us that is a priority. I so enjoy the vlogs, but that is icing on the cake for us viewers. The vlog is NOT the important element of this process! I have family with cattle in Crescent, and dairy in Watonga, OK and watching your operation reminds me of them, back to my childhood days. My brother--graduate of OSU with a master's in beef nutrition--worked for Continental Grain for years and managed their nutrition/feeding program at feed lots all over TX, CO, KS, OK, etc. for 20 years. Moving a family with kids over the years was not conducive to making friends and enjoying academics, so he established his own business feeding black Angus, and buying and selling them for others. They were in Stratford, TX a few years and as the kids migrated to Amarillo and he focused more on buying, selling and shipping they are now in the Amarillo area. I have spent a LOT of time with him as he works, so again your work reminds me of him. His son is in Stillwater after graduating from OSU, and works for a big communications company in the area--and does videography/production full time. He could be your brother when I look at you! My dad and mom were grads of OSU, and he was a professor--with an interest in nutrition, his specialty was hogs. So, after living in OK, IA, KY, and now NC I enjoy watching you because you remind me of family and their love of farming, ranching, and hands on work! God bless you as you care for your family, friends, and Bison. Whatever we get to see is spectacular, but should be a low priority in your major scheme of balancing life!! Thank you for allowing us a little peak into your life-long dream.
