Omg for real. So she wants to have a child to keep a piece of Rhysand in case he dies and at the same time leave the child orphaned because she’ll die if he dies (and vice versa) . I haven’t read the last book so my prediction is that she’ll get pregnant soon. Then one of them will die for real and the other will choose to stay alive (thus breaking the death pact) for the sake of the child. I also predict that when she falls pregnant she’s going to be certain it’s the boy the Bone Carver showed her but when the baby is born it’s going to be a girl. this book truly highlights the major flaw of the inner circle which is "we just don't talk to each other about the important personal stuff because those are things we need to deal with on our own." like what the hell!!!! support your friends talk to them don't let them just sit in their pain. the whole point of ACOMAF was removing feyre from that isolating experience and giving her a support system to rely on and talk to. now she and all of her friends are going through pain and she's not talking to them about anything and changing the subject when things start getting tough. you are all miserable because none of you talk to each other about the things that matter most!! it's so infuriating to read.

I mean I thought this was pretty damn egregious in all the books to be honest. Basically every time the reader/Feyre finds out something genuinely personal about a member of the inner circle that's not borderline public information about their family situation, whether it's Rhysand having PTSD nightmares or Mor's coming out or whatever, it's always "something not even the rest of the inner circle knows". Basically none of these people have ever been open and honest with each other about any of their deeper than absolute surface level issues despite having spent literal centuries together and constantly talking about being each other's family. It's completely unbelievable that these folks are or were ever actually friends.

I’ll say it: I want about book about Tammy. I know he’s the bad guy ex but it has a lot of intrigue regarding the politics. You have a completely broken court with a powerless leader. What sort of power dynamics does this cause? What do its citizens think of their leader? And since being high-lord is so attached to the magic of the land, what does that mean for the magic? Is there going to be a rebellion in the Spring court? Established democracy? Anarchy? everything is in chaos and I want to see how it gets rebuilt. Feyre proved that you can’t be broken forever. Tammy needs to learn this too so it would be interesting for him to develop and re-establish himself as a proper leader. Knowing Sarah Janet, it might be a whole “a powerful woman comes along and whips Tam Lin into shape” and you know what, if that’s what it takes to get closure on this thing, fine

i've only watched this videos and heven't read the books but I'm such a Tamlin defender! Like obviously he was horrible to Feyre at times and I'm VERY glad she left but I feel like SJM forgets that the guy was willing to sacrifice himself and his entire court for Feyre's safety in book one and that he saved both her and Rhy in book 3. His behaviour in book 2 wasn't acceptable by any means but it does make sense considering he was traumatised by seeing Feyra dying in front of him and feeling guilty over it. I just need the guy to get some good therapy and a support network and start rebuilding his life.

SJM buys into the fannon so much she ended up hating tamlin and therefore missing the opportunity to have elaine be his mate and help bridge the gap between the two courts because making lucien her mate just seems like taking everyone from tamlin and forcing lucien into the ic and ALSO … nobody in the night court is a good person like yall rich asf in the sky while people are homeless and mistreated? hollering um..

Accurate. I personally kind of like the Elucien ship, mostly bc I just enjoy Lucien more as a character, but even just for some sort of companionship, Elaine would be so good for Tamlin. Not to mention she would absolutely thrive in the spring court. I know this won’t happen bc SJM sort of has a vendetta against him by this point, but I would adore seeing Elaine, Tamlin and possibly Lucien doing some emotional healing while rebuilding the Spring court. Also I didn’t mind the IC until we saw how they interact with Lucien. Maybe I’m just biased bc he’s my favorite, but he was never welcome there. We’re a good few books in now, and they still treat him like a criminal, holding his mate like a dog leash to keep him in check, and then Feyre laughing in his face when he explains how he found better emotional support with Jurian and Vassa. I’m still waiting for an explanation as to how Feyre was the “better friend” lmao

GIRL I was so excited! I read these books for the first time this year and I have been eating your summaries up. Honestly I actually like this book since it feels like the characters get to process their traumas at least a little in this one. Also I just love holiday episodes. Idk man good for SJM for getting to just publish her Christmas healing fanfic lol In spite of that though GOD this book is one of the worst instances of Rhys and Feyre just being INSUFFARABLY full of themselves. Like Feyre laughing in Lucien's face for being in the "band of exiles" is SO SHITTY wtf girl he has EVERY RIGHT TO FEEL THIS WAY?? And the way Rhys and Feyre act about Tamlin. Like, do I like Tamlin? No. But I struggle to get on the Tamlin hate train when it's so transparent that SJM did some character assassination to make Rhys feel like the perfect second option, so it makes Rhys and Feyre being shitty about him feel very... high school, I guess? It's just ridiculous. We get it, Tamlin Bad and Rhys Invented Feminism and Rhys/Feyre is the greatest love story ever told, uuuugghhhh. I can never tell if Rhys and Feyre being angry and generally shitty is meant to show character flaws cause like?? It really feels like SJM expects me to just roll with what her mains do/say/feel and I am. NOT on board?? And yet I continue to read so. Joke's on me I guess rip

This was my LEAST favorite book of the series pisses me off that literally right before this Feyre was like I WANNA LIVE A LITTLE BEFORE I GET PREGNANT , then immediately after 🙄 ugh I hate that the only way a woman protagonist character has a happy ending is if she pops out a kid and gets married. @@britt6184 the fact that she said she didn’t want to immediately have a kid…. and immediately after got pregnant and wasn’t told about her condition that was potentially fatal and wasn’t given a choice in whether she would terminate or continue on with the pregnancy based on that information . This is specific to the fictional character in this book. I don’t give a shit what other women to irl. So don’t be pressed about my comment and apply it to every woman ever because I didn’t say that. It’s not an attack on you or any other woman. It’s a pattern I’ve found in many books I’ve read and I personally find it annoying. And that’s me. You do whatever you want, idk you and idc what you do 🤷🏻‍♀️
