And with Renee she misses her so much, and feels like guilty about leaving her. But you can tell she feels so relieved by having a break from her. Like she says she loves Renee so much(and I think she does) but she also kind of dreads talking to her. Like she literally feels betrayed when Charlie told Renee, her mother and his co-parent, that she was almost hit by a car and had to go to the ER. She’s like, nooo im fine, I’ll walk it off. It’s actually a bit worrying how uncomfortable she is with the idea of being taken care of. Honestly I’m surprised she’s hasn’t been pulled aside by a school counselor or something.

Look into Forever Dawn, essentially Breaking Dawn, but New Moon and Eclipse never happened. Jacob was never supposed to be a love interest at all. Meyer didn't want the last 3 books. Her publisher wanted more of the story between Twilight and them getting married and a conflict in their relationship.

1:16:08 I've been watching a bunch of ex-Mormon content recently, and knowing Meyer is Mormon and went to BYU in Utah, the sudden influx of dates makes much more sense. Young Mormons are so strongly encouraged to get married as soon as possible, and so the dating culture there is FAST, sometimes multiple first dates a day. So I'm not surprised that she suddenly was inundated with date requests after moving into that culture!

As someone who is lds it's not something that is encouraged its just something that happens enough that it becomes a stereotype like how alot of parents said that their kids can't date till there 16 and so it just became the norm and a stereotype, hope this helps I just wanted to clear any misinformation:)
